Dolores L. Kifer

Born September 5, 1931 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Lydia Rowles.

Mrs. Kifer was a graduate of Clearfield High School and worked at Brown’s Boot Shop in Clearfield. She attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Clearfield where she was involved with the kitchen crew assisting with cooking and baking for various church functions. She also was one of the founders of ‘JOY Fellowship Group’ at the church. She enjoyed going for car rides to search for deer, elk and eagles. She loved people, whether it was being out among folks in public or at an event, she enjoyed being social. She was the matriarch of the family, and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Caldwell and late husband William, and Carla Verelli and husband David; a son, Russell ‘Rusty’ Kifer Jr. and wife Patti; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Russell ‘Pete’ Kifer Sr.; two sons, Michael and Arthur ‘Artie’ Kifer; one grandson, Russell William Kifer; three great grandchildren, Karleigh Caldwell, Logan Lupton, and Emersyn Rowles; a sister, Geraldine Rowles; and a brother, Robert ‘Bobby’ Rowles.

A funeral service will be held at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Clearfield, on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Shayne Lumadue officiating. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.

Friends and family will be received at the church on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
