Born March 7, 1943, at the Clearfield Hospital, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ethel (Rowles) Price.
Donna was an avid reader and loved her garden and canning. She enjoyed going to the casino and Clint Eastwood. Donna had a fondness for Charlie Brown and Snoopy, having an entire room filled with décor and memorabilia. When it was raining, you would find Donna on her porch so she could watch the raindrops.
Donna loved her family. She was a very proud and loving Mother, Granny, and Great Granny. She also enjoyed her cat, Rufus. She will be missed greatly as she made it a point to spend as much time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and was never afraid to flip the bird!
She is survived by three children, Dorothy A. Howell and husband Roger, Judy Dixon and husband Trace, and David E. McCracken; four grandchildren, Taylor L. Dixon-Prokopakis and husband Tyler, Sam Dixon, Matthew Elensky and wife Abby, and Danny Elensky; three great grandchildren, Mya Jo Prokopakis, Aveline Elensky, and Miyah Elensky; a sister, Beverly Lanich; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was married to her loving husband David Wilson McCracken for 44 years, who preceded her in death on July 24, 2015. They met at the Clearfield Cheese Plant, where Donna had been employed.
In addition to her husband and parents, Donna is preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Sue (Price) Elensky; and eight siblings, Robert Price, Mary Wright, Ruth Hoover, Rosie Ward, Joan Hamilton, Jean Bloom, Betty Maines, and Dorothy Verdecchi.
In honoring Donna’s wishes, there will be no public services observed.
