She was born on May 6, 1935, in Clearfield, the daughter of Allen and Esther
(Green) Wisor.
Dorothy was a member of the Calvary Church of God of Mineral Springs where
she served as a Deaconess.
She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her children.
Dorothy is survived by four children; Sharon Cartwright, of Lancaster, PA, Cindy
Rauch, of Clearfield, Laurie S. Wisor and her husband, Dean, of Egypt and Phillip
Daniel Young and his wife, Roxanne, of Tampa, FL, eight grandchildren; Angel
Gray of Lancaster, Scott Gray, of Lancaster, Jode Rauch, of Philipsburg,
PA, Justin Rauch, of Clearfield, Linsey Aughinbaugh, of DuBois, Nolan Wisor,
Kara Wisor, and Tayler Wisor all of Egypt, two great grandchildren; Tyler Gray
and Everlee Jean Aughinbaugh, two brothers and three sisters; Delores (Tab)
Dixon, of Indiana, Charles (Dick) Wisor and his wife, Adelaide, of Mineral Springs,
Jane Peters and her husband, Neldon, of Mineral Springs, Karen Lumadue and her
husband, Tom, of West Decatur and Lyle (Rook) Wisor and his wife, Norma, of
West Decatur and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband Phillip “Skip”
Young, a son Jamie Edward Young, two brothers; Alfred and Donald Wisor and a
son-in-law, William “Butch” Cartwright.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, November 23, 2012 at the
Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Stanley Wisor and Rev. Sam
Maines Co- officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 P.M. until the
hour of the services at 7:00PM.
