Douglas J Eggers

He was born on September 24, 1957 in Clearfield to the son of Joseph L. and Sherry A. (Boyle) Eggers.

Mr. Eggers had graduated in 1979 from Penn State University with a degree in accounting and had been a finance manager for various car dealerships.

Mr. Eggers was a member of the West Side United Methodist Church of Clearfield.

He is survived by his mother, Sherry A. Eggers of Clearfield, a daughter, Ashleigh E.N. Eggers of Clearfield, three sisters; Tammy J. Eggers, Maureen M. Eggers both of Clearfield and Kimberly A. Levin and her husband Mike of St. Petersburg, FL, a nephew and three nieces; Michael Levin and his wife Holly, Alisha Dos Santos and her husband Diego, Caitlin McCoy and her husband Derrick and Samantha Levin.

Mr. Eggers was preceded in death by his father, Joseph L. Eggers, paternal grandparents: Leo and Pauline Eggers and maternal grandparents; Roy and Evelyn Boyle.

Funeral services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., of Clearfield on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dr. Joleen A. Willis officiating. Interment will be in Bloomington Cemetery of Curwensville, PA

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 6-8 P.M. and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the services.
