Edward F. Lanich

He was born April 4, 1943 in Clearfield, the son of Clair W. and Alma L. (Blake) Lanich.

Mr. Lanich had worked as a Master Mechanic for Thompson and Buck, Ross Buick, C Classic Dodge and retired from Automart.

He was a member of the B & I Bowling League and the National Guard.

Edward is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Baumgardner) Lanich whom he married May 11, 1968 at the Clearfield Presbyterian Church, two children; Ronald Lanich and his companion Rhonda Shimel of Naples, FL and Jennifer McDiffitt and her husband James of Woodland, six grandchildren; Jessica (Ian) Donald, Mitchel Tabot, Erika Johnson and Joshua, James and Abigail McDiffitt, six great grandchildren, a brother, Bruce Lanich and his wife Bernice, a sister, Frances Hirsch, all of Clearfield and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and infant brother, Clair Lanich, Jr., two brothers; Theodore and Frank Lanich and a nephew, John Lanich.

Honoring the families wishes there will be no public visitation or services.

Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284.
