Edward A. Nishida

Born February 18, 1941, in Honolulu, HI, the son of Douglas Katsumi Nishida and Elinor Teruko Tada Nishida.

Ed had worked as a Chef for various restaurants.

Mr. Nishida was Catholic by Faith.

He was an avid bowler.

Mr. Nishida was a United States Army veteran during the Vietnam Era.

Edward is survived by four children; Scott Edward Nishida of Woodland, James Nishida and his wife Candy of Shawville, Jennifer Nishida of Clearfield and Jade Ronquilio of Honolulu, HI, eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a sister Lynn Mizusawa of Honolulu, HI, three brothers; Dean, Rod and Tim Kanemitsu all of Honolulu, HI and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Beryl B. (Foster) Nishida whom he married June 20, 1971, and who passed away March 11, 2022, and a sister, Eunice Nishida.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
