Born November 25, 1929, in Susquehanna, Cambria County, the son of Steven and Margaret Sackie.
Mr. Sacks was a long-term roofing contractor.
He belonged to various civic organizations in Clearfield, including life member of the Moose.
Fred was a United States Army Veteran.
He is survived by three children; James T. Sackie and his wife Violet of Berwick, Edward J. Sackie of Clearfield and Judith Mondrone of Raritan, NJ., seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Fred Sackie, Jr.
Honoring Fred’s wishes there will be no public visitation or services.
