He was born August 8, 1949 in Clearfield, the son of Arthur Gerald and Alberta Mae (Rowles) Nelson.
Mr. Nelson had worked for Howe’s Leather for over 30 years until it closed and was currently employed by Swisher Concrete as a truck driver.
Frank is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Taylor) Nelson whom he married on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1972; his two children: Marsha Nelson and Franklin Nelson, Jr. and his wife Melinda and a grandson, Franklin Nelson III, all of Clearfield.
He was the last member of his generation having been preceded in death by his parents.
Honoring Frank’s wishes there will be no public visitation. Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. John F. White officiating.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
