Fredrick Elmer Cupp

Born September 8, 1939 in Clearfield, the son of LeRoy J. and Nellie M. (Morgan) Cupp.

Mr. Cupp had been owner and operator of Cupp Sanitation.

He was Christian by Faith.

Fred was a member of the Clearfield 2nd Ward Hose Company for 60 years. He also belonged to various sportsmen clubs and liked hunting, fishing and taking long drives.

Fred is survived by his wife, Helen L. (Maines) Cupp whom he married June 10, 1960, a daughter, Peggy Redden and her husband Rob of Curwensville, four grandchildren: Brandi Kephart, Steven Kephart, Jr., Amanda Kephart and Skylar Mione, seven great grandchildren: Derek, Raylee, Lynn Ann, Dominic, Tanner, Tristan and Lilly, three siblings: Barbara Cross of Wallkill, NY, Charles Cupp (Sandy) of Clearfield and Bonnie Weikel (Bill) of Warren, OH and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Helen Kephart, a brother, James Cupp and three sisters: Stella Holt, June Klingingsmith and Connie Triponey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 12:00 Noon with Rev. John F. White officiating. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
