He was born on June 4, 1941 in Clearfield, the son of the late Clarence and Leah (White) Brickley. On May 28, 1966 he married Linda (Williams) Brickley, she survives.
Glenn served in the Army National Guard. Retired, Glenn had worked for Howe’s Leather, Harbison Walker and Kent’s Sportswear as a Machinist.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Philipsburg, Clearfield Boro Fire Dept., American Legion and Railroad Club.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Linda Brickley; four children: Glenn T. Brickley Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Morrisdale, Michael A. Brickley of Clearfield, Jennifer L. Brickley of Council Bluffs, IA and Robert M. Brickley II his wife Nicole of Fort Carson, CO; six granddaughters: Vesta, Abigail, Alexis, Ava, Caroline, Lindsey Brickley; a sister, Cleo Hurd of Buffalo, NY and a brother, Clarence Brickley Jr. of Fulton, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert M. Brickley I and sister, Jean Wright.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. with President Robert Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Olanta. Military honors will be accorded by members of the VFW.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Friday from 10am until the hour of services.
