
Born January 3, 1937, in Irvona, the son of Dave and Nora (Gallaher) O’Shell.
He was a graduate of Harmony Area High School.
Mr. O’Shell had worked for MacGregors Sportswear and retired from Corning Glass.
He was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam Era.
Guy was Baptist by Faith.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and dirt track racing and was an avid Steeler, Pirates and Penn State Sports fan.
Guy is survived by his wife, Audrey L. (Truitt) O’Shell whom he married on November 11, 1960, a son, Michael G. O’Shell and his wife Tery of Springfield, MO, two grandchildren; Sean O’Shell and Shannon O’Shell (Mike Casebolt), a great-grandson, Clark Casebolt and a brother, Paul O’Shell (Sharon) of Cherry Tree and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings: Mabel Straw, Matilda Spaid, Lois Lightner and Arnold O’Shell.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Chapel of Historic Crown Crest Cemetery on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Rev. M. Bruce Dimmick officiating. Military Honors will be accorded by the Clearfield Honor Guard.
