Born January 1, 1953 in Renovo, she was the daughter of the late Frances Coder. Along with her mother Frances, she was also raised by her grandparents.
Irene graduated from the Clearfield Area High School and enjoyed reading and being outside. When she was able, she enjoyed walking and taking in all things nature.
Irene is survived by her daughter, Valerie Jordan and husband Zack of Pleasant Gap.
In addition to her mother and grandparents, Irene is preceded in death by a sister, Debbie.
In honor of Irene’s wishes, there will be no public services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Clearfield County SPCA, 275 21st Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
