He was born July 9, 1937 in Stronach, the son of Mark and Katherine (Adniski) Caldwell.
James had worked for Clearfield Cheese and the Army Corps of Engineers as a Dam Tender at the Curwensville Dam.
James is survived by his companion, Dolly McGee, two children; Brian Stucke of Woodland and Andrea Arlotta and her husband Mike of North Richland Hills, Texas, two granddaughters; Lauren and Jessica, a great grandson, Logan and a number of siblings, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at his home.
