Judith "Judy" B. Narehood

Born on May 13, 1943 in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of Ralph H. and Jean E. (Harvey) Barton.

She was Methodist by faith.

Judy graduated in 1961 from Clearfield Area High School and continued her education by attending nursing school at Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg, PA graduating in 1964.

On January 16, 1965, she wed Sidney G. Narehood in Dillon, South Carolina.

She was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years at a number of local facilities and retired from the Clearfield Hospital after 20 years of service.

Judy enjoyed her time with family, bus trips with friends, classic westerns and TV shows, and was a lifetime member of the NRA.

She is survived by her two sons, Seth E. Narehood and his wife Charlyne J. of Bellefonte, PA, Todd E. Narehood of Ephrata, PA; sister-in-law, Charlene Barton, Loudon, TN; several nieces and nephews, and grand-dog, Rudy.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Sidney (January 9, 2007), infant daughter Rebecca (May 27, 1970), and her brother, James H. Barton (July 27, 2024).

Friends will be received at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 1:00 pm, with Rev. John White officiating.

Interment will be in Historic Crown Crest Cemetery, Clearfield.
