Julia Mae White

Born December 6, 1934, in Clearfield, the daughter of Oral and Jenny (Johnson) Bauman.

She was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School.

Julia had worked at Kurtz Brothers, MacGregors Sportswear and retired from the Clearfield County Courthouse.

Mrs. White was a life member of the O’Shanter United Methodist Church where she had served as Pianist for over 70 years.

She loved her family and had a special love for all animals.

Julia is survived by her daughter, Kathy Jo Curry of O’Shanter, her grandson, William “Bill” T. Curry and his wife Michelle of Clearfield and two great-grandsons: Gavin and Oliver Curry.

She was the last member of her generation having been preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William O. “Willie” White whom she married November 14, 1970, and who passed away November 8, 2001, and three brothers: Raymond, William and Glenn Bauman.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. Clearfield on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Pastor Paul A. Bowers and Pastor Clare L. Pannebaker co-officiating. Interment will be in Bloomington Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
