Kathie L. Flood

Born September 28, 1955 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of the late Solon Edward and Rita Mae (Capatch) Hontz.

Kathie had worked at Purcell Tire, Clearfield Bank & Trust, and with the Clearfield County Fair Board. She was Christian by faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, vacations to the ocean, and her dogs. She will be remembered also as being a devoted friend.

She is survived by her two children, Christopher Flood and wife Chris of Woodland, and Amy McNie and husband Gilbert; and two grandchildren, Christian Flood and wife Cheyenne of Bigler, and Jarod Flood and wife Erika of Clearfield. Kathie was so excited about becoming a great grandmother in June to Natalia Flood.

Kathie is also survived by a sister, Linda Price and husband Dan; a niece, Dawn Puit and husband Jim; a nephew, Brian Price and wife Caroline; a great nephew, Daniel and his sons Bentlee and Jameson; and two great nieces, Chloe and Cassandra.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In honoring Kathie’s wishes, there will be no public services observed.
