Kathryn S. White

Mrs. White was born July 6, 1918 in Bloomington, the daughter of Irvin A. and Sarah H. (Proud) Tozer.

She attended school at Curwensville.

Mrs. White was a Homemaker.

She was a member of the O’Shanter United Methodist Church and formerly was a member of the Capsule Sisters of the church.

Mrs. White was also a member of the Glen Richey Fire Company Auxiliary and the Curwensville Moose Auxiliary.

Kathryn is survived by five children; Marlene Kay Heverley of Brockway, John F. White Jr., and his wife Peggy of Curwensville, Karen Hepfer of Woodland, Rick White and his wife Jessica of Statesville, NC and Larry T. White and his wife Darlene of Kings Mountain, NC, thirteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. White was the last member of her generation having been preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John White whom she married July 16, 1938 and who passed away January 25, 2004, five brothers; Glenn, Cooper, Richard, Francis and Irvin Tozer and two sons-in-law; Orlin Heverley and David Hepfer.

Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., of Clearfield with Rev. Carol Gathagan officiating. Interment will be in Thompson Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the hour of services.
