Kenneth Robert Conaway

He was born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania on May 12, 1947, the son of Walter Andrew and Betty (Gillingham) Conaway and he was a Christian by Faith.

Mr. Conaway is survived by his wife, Sonja Ann Conaway of Douglasville, Georgia; his daughter (Sissy) Rhonda Berryhill and her husband Tony Berryhill; a sister Deborah Grace and her husband Don Grace; a granddaughter, Andrea Renee Miller and her husband Matt Miller; two grandsons Matthew Alan Graff and his wife Kelly Graff, Joshua Lee Bowling; son-in-law, Jeff Milleville, three great grandchildren: Cooper and Chloe Graff, Brooke Aurora Miller; two grand pups, Jaxon and Bailey and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Conaway is preceded in death by his daughter Wanda Milleville; his parents, Walter and Betty Conaway; his paternal grandparents, Aaron and Tursie Conaway; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Nellie Gillingham; sister, Margaret (Peggy) Daub, brothers, Larry James Conaway and William Andrew Conaway.

Growing up in Clearfield, Kenneth learned to skip rocks at Elliotts Creek, to hunt and fish. He ice skated on frozen ponds, went snow sledding down mountains and most importantly Clearfield is where he met the love of his life, the former Sonja Duckett.

Funeral services for Kenneth will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 11:30 with Pastor Clare Pannebaker officiating at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, 312 E. Locust Street, Clearfield, Pennsylvania 16830.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. A graveside service will follow in the Bradford Cemetery.

Kenneth loved his family fiercely. He lived with a warm heart and an extended hand willing and able to help anyone. He was an avid hunter who also enjoyed fishing and gardening. It was known that he grew the best tasting tomatoes. He also had a passion for chevy trucks.
