

Born June 19, 1937, in Clearfield, the son of Calvin and Dorris (Kritzer) Brothers.
He was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School.
Butch had worked as a mechanic for various dealerships and had driven truck for various companies. He had been employed by Wal Mart in the sporting goods department and retired from Carns Equipment.
Mr. Brothers was affiliated with the Bells Landing Baptist Church.
He was very proud to have served in the Army National Guard, Coal Hill Armory, for 25 years until his honorable discharge on September 15, 1980.
Butch is survived by his two children: Robert S. Brothers and his fiancée Lisa of Grampian and Julie L. Daisher and her husband Rick of Bells Landing, four grandchildren: Lacy Brothers, Derek Brothers, Nichole Daisher and Devan Daisher, nine great-grandchildren and a half-brother, Raymond Brothers of Meadville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Janet M. (Curry) Brothers whom he married May 24, 1957, and who passed away May 12, 2006, and a grandson, Lucas Brothers.
Honoring the wishes of Mr. Brothers there will be no public visitation or services. Interment will be in Historic Crown Crest Cemetery.
