
She was born on March 4, 1927 in Clearfield, the daughter of Charles Alexander and Verna (English) Blake.
Ms. Holt retired after twenty plus years from G.C. Murphy store as a clerk.
She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.
Ms. Holt was a member of the Second Ward Auxiliary and had volunteered at the Senior Citizens Center.
Her hobbies included crochet, puzzles and loving her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children; Patricia Bloom, of Clearfield, Timothy A. Holt and his wife, Marsha, of West Decatur and Gary G. Holt and his wife Sandy of Curwensville, four grandchildren, Jim Bloom and his wife Reane, Mike Bloom and his wife Amy, Tim Holt and his wife Rhonda and Melissa Cochran. Nine great grandchildren, Caleb, Noah, Josh, Hannah, Ryan, Emily, Sydney, Gabby and Crosby.
She was the last member of her generation.
Ms. Holt was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne L. Holt who passed away on August 4, 1984, two sisters; Alma Lanich and Mabel Little, five brothers; Emerson, Ward, Frank, Charles and Bruce Blake, a granddaughter, Penny Bloom, a great granddaughter, MacKenzie Holt and a great grandson, Dakota Thomas Cochran.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday February 20, at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., of Clearfield with Rev. Penney Rahm officiating. Interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday February 19, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and on Friday at 10 a.m. until the hour of the services.
