Mae Peters

She was born on March 2, 1933 in Utahville, the daughter of the late Loris and Mary (Lender) Ireland. On October 11, 1949 she married Jack D. Peters, who preceded her in death on July 26, 2018.

Mae retired at the age of 79 as a CNA, she worked at Windy Hill Village and the Heights for many years.

Mae is survived by her five children: Marsha Holt and her husband Tim of West Decatur, Candy Roberts and her husband Melvin of Woodland, Jeffrey Peters and his companion Carla of Hyde, Barry Peters and his wife Donna of Irvona and Gary Peters and his wife Darlene of Irvona; 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Wheatcroft and her husband Dave of Indiana, PA, three brothers: Don Ireland Curwensville, Clayton Ireland and his wife LuAnn of Clearfield and Elon Ireland and his wife Sally of Clearfield.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mae was preceded in death by her son, Philip Peters; the grandsons: Gary and Brock Peters; a great grandson, Dakota Cochran; a great granddaughter, Mackenzie Holt; two brothers: Bud and Russel Ireland and a sister, Louise Livergood.

At the wishes of Mae all services are private. Burial will be in Bradford Cemetery.
