Marcia Carns Bechtold

Marcia Bechtold 87 of Morrisdale, PA passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Clearfield Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arthur C. “Art” Bechtold who died August 20, 1998.
Born June 28, 1925 in Clearfield, PA she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Grace (Young) Carns. Mrs. Bechtold was a member of Bigler United Methodist Church and the Frenchville VFW Auxiliary. Marcia volunteered for and delivered Meals on Wheels.
Surviving are one son and two daughters: James W. Bechtold and his wife Elaine, Morrisdale, PA; Wanda Tingle, Clearfield, PA; Cathy Bechtold and her husband Terrence Graham, Morrisdale; 1 sister: Nina Johnson, Frenchville; also son-in-law: James Tingle, West Decatur; 4 grandchildren: Wendy Bechtold, James Bechtold, Zachary Tingle and Caitlyn Tingle. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 6 brothers: Calvin, Bernard, Richard, John, Joseph and Charlie Carns; 2 sisters: Nellie Gramling and Betty Gormont.
A service to celebrate the life of Marcia Bechtold will be 11:00 AM Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., 312 E. Locust Street, Clearfield, PA 16830 with Pastor Kenneth J. Leonard officiating. A time to share memories and have an opportunity to view will be 2:00 – 6:00 PM on Sunday and Monday from 10:00 to 11; 00 AM the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bradford Cemetery.
