Margaret L Haney

She was born October 2, 1946 in Clearfield, the daughter of Torrence and Freda (Haney) Lanich.

Ms. Haney had worked for Spankeys Courthouse Café of Clearfield as a waitress.

She was an avid NASCAR fan and loved bingo.

Ms. Haney is survived by her son, Scott Haney of Clearfield, two grandsons; Joshua Haney and Jason M. Ritter, a brother, Edward Haney and his wife Wylene of Georgia, three sisters; Marlene Gearhart and her husband Allen of Clearfield, Rebecca Fenton and her husband Robert of St. Marys and Gale Washic and her husband Dave of Lance and her companion, Jim Hile of Clearfield. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; David and Kenneth Haney.

Honoring Ms. Haney’s wishes there will be no public viewing.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., Clearfield on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Joel E. Leininger officating. Interment will be in Centre Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Nathaniel D. Yingling, M.D. Cancer Center, 815 Doctors Drive, Clearfield, PA 16830 or the Clearfield Hospice, Box 992, Clearfield, PA 16830.
