A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and registered nurse, Peg always gave selflessly to others with kindness and sincerity. Even as a fierce competitor at cards, Peg was a good sport whether she won or lost.
Peg was a 1944 graduate of Clearfield Hospital School of Nursing and witnessed many historical changes in healthcare during her 40 years as a registered nurse at Clearfield Hospital. No matter the department or shift, she maintained her focus on caring for her patients first, then her charting. Even after retiring, Peg remained connected to Clearfield Hospital through the Clearfield Hospital School of Nursing Alumni and retired nurses.
Peg was an active member at West Side United Methodist Church, The Red Hats Society, Coterie, and local card clubs.
Her incredible experiences over 95 years most can only imagine- the first automobile and the great depression’s test of faith and family. Although her incredible journey through life has ended, her spirit will soar through all that knew her.
