Martin L. Shaw

Born June 10, 1955 in Clearfield, PA he was the son of the late Cletus John Shaw and Joy L. "Dot" (Peters) Shaw of Clearfield.

Mr. Shaw was a graduate of the Philipsburg Osecola High School class of 1973.

He was a carpenter and most recently had worked with the Amish in timber sales.

Mr. Shaw was affiliated with the Salem United Methodist Church.

He was a member of the Clearfield Areie #812 Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

Mr. Shaw is survived by his mother, a sister, Debbie Haskins and her husband Bill of Russell, PA, two brothers; Cletus Shaw and his wife Karen of Osecola Mills and Howard Shaw and his wife Gail of Winchester, VA. and several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, who passed away August 23, 2004,

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. Clearfield with Rev. Ronald J. Beistline officiating. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of services.
