Mary Ellen Haney

Born on October 24, 1929, she was the daughter of William and Ethel T. (Turner) McLaughlin.

Mrs. Haney retired from Pine Grove Nursery after thirty years of service. She had attended church at the Eden Church.

Mrs. Haney especially enjoyed playing Canasta and Pinnacle in various card groups throughout the Clearfield area.

She married Theodore R. Haney on October 4, 1947 in Clearfield. Also surviving is a son, Randy B. Haney and his wife Helen of Clearfield; two sisters, Anna Mae Dixon and her companion Bill Bollinger of Hillsdale, Doreen Dixon of Hillsdale; two brothers, Fred McLaughlin and his wife Edna of Clearfield and Richard McLaughlin and his wife Rose of Clearfield.

Mrs. Haney is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Mildred Spingola and Shirley Maines.

At the request of Mrs. Haney, the will be no visitation or viewing.

The family suggests that donations by made to the American Cancer Society, 22 South Second Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
