Mary Jane Kline, 82, of Shiloh, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at her home.

Born January 27, 1944 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Virginia (Reasinger) Snyder. She was raised from an early age by her aunt and uncle, Braden and Marion Hummell, along with their children, Paul, Sue, Linda, Jeff, Tina, and Teresa.

Mrs. Kline attended Clearfield Area Schools. She had a love for babies and children, and she enjoyed working in different childcare centers.

She is survived by her husband, Lowell L. ‘Joe’ Kline, whom she wed on December 26, 1962. She was an awesome wife of 63 years including 17 years as a military wife. She raised two wonderful girls, Sherry Gray and husband Kevin, and Tonya Petri and husband Bradley.

Mrs. Kline is also survived by five grandchildren, Joey Gray and wife Elissa, Mark Gray and wife Andrea, Emily Elliott and husband Josh, Tana Petri and Gretchen Petri; 11 great grandchildren, Soloman Gray, Samuel Gray, Zippora Gray, Payge Gray, Samsyn Gray, Tristan Gray, Madelyn Elliott, Liam Elliott, Natalie Elliott, Emma Petri and Grayson Petri; a sister, Barbara Milligan; three brothers, John Snyder and wife Rebecca, Dennis Snyder and wife Jennifer, and Jerry Snyder and wife Nancy; a two sisters-in-law, Deanna Snyder and Jane Oldknow.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her aunt and uncle who raised her; three brothers, Tom Snyder, Robert Snyder, and Richard Oldknow; and a sister, Shelby Wilson.

A funeral service will be held at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Shiloh Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 3-5 PM and on Monday August 3, 2026 from 10-11 AM.
