My wonderful "bonus" mom. I'm so glad to have had your steadfast love and presence in my life these past 30+years. How many hours spent at your house (and in your barn). The hayrides, the sledding, the relaxing visits and wonderful meals-all good times. Thank you for keeping me in your life, and embracing Bob too. We loved, and do love, you both.

When we first hit the road to see this country we stopped in PA and made a trip to my second mom and dad's house. I've known Sue and Ron my entire life and instead of them thinking we were crazy to move into an RV they thought it was wonderful. We spent a couple of wonderful hours talking about travel and looking through the scrapbooks they had created from their own travels. There was so much sharing and excitement it really encouraged us. "Mom" is seriously missed. I loved sharing my pictures of our travels with her each week.

I will always treasure the times we had together, starting as best friends in 7th grade thru courting, marriage, and children. We had some lost years but thank God (and Dan) we found each other. Rest in Peace my friend, I will miss you always.

There are so many memories to share about Aunt Sue. When I try to think of one, my mind is flooded with many. We had a special relationship. I remember always her motherly care throughout my life and felt close to the root of this family matriarch. Her steadfast belief in God gave strength, endurance and kindness to be the toughest yet most loveable Sioux City Sue. She will be dearly missed 💗

When I think of Nancy, I immediately think of her as our “Mama of Eden Valley”. During hunting season she would throw open the door at Camp and march in to let her presence known, always carrying a savory dish to feed the troop. She gave orders to the guys about the Camp rules concerning practical jokes, especially not to come over and wake her in the wee hours of the morning. Little did they know, she had a few tricks up her own sleeve, including setting their clocks to wake them much earlier and making jokes about putting Ex-Lax in her brownies; this was a huge hit in the tree stand for sure. Then she would quietly leave, mumbling something to herself about the results of paybacks. Truth be told, she loved every bit of the laughs and being the Mama of Camp Horny. Now, in Heaven with Ronnie & Earl, the king-pins of shenanigans, she is in her glory... God’s Glory... worshipping Him as her priority. We love you, Mama!

How can I possibly share my love and admiration for you in only 2000 characters. I am lucky enough to have had 34 years with you, I wish there would be more. I miss you so bad it hurts and I don't go a day with out thinking of you and crying for you. I know you are in Heaven and happy w/ Pap again, but 34 years was not enough. You were the matriarch of this family, an amazing woman and my very special role model. Your love for God, and family, sewing and crafts and all things kitchen related have all been an inspiration to me. Im lost without you and still cant believe you are gone, we had so many plans. But I know I'll see you again Gram, and I'll be working twice as hard to make sure of it now. I love you Grammy

I have so many wonderful memories of this beautiful lady. She was my mom's best friend and became such an important person in my world. I loved coming to dinner and being gathered around this huge table with everyone and sharing the day. The farm was always a fun place and thinking of the pony rides still make me smile. As life happens our families lost contact and recently reconnected and it was like no time had passed. I'll miss her laugh most of all. Prayers to all of you. Wish I could be there to give you all hugs.
