He was born on January 29, 1927 in Clearfield, the son of the late Edgar and Rilla (McKee) Dale.
Norman served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He went on to work for District 20 Office for Penn Dot, as a Construction Inspector.
He was a member of the Elks, American Legion, VFW, Clearfield-Curwensville Country Club, Coudersport Consistory, Masonic Lodge 555 and Accepted Masons in Duke Center, PA and Zem Zem Temple, Erie, PA.
Norman is survived by his sister, Barbara D. Burns of Hollidaysburg, PA and several nieces and nephews: Jeffery Johnston of Mill Hall, PA, Dr. Kimberly Johnston of Reading, PA, Robert D. Burns of Deerfield Beach, FL, Susan Burns of Deerfield, Beach, FL and Scott Burns of Hollidaysburg, PA
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Betty D. Johnston and longtime companion Janet K. McCamley.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on April 27 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Robert Way officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by the VFW. Burial will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
