You will not be forgotten.
I'll always remember all the good times as I was little growing up with you, singing and playing the guitar. Being there alot for us 3 kids. You and my father(Ken McLaughlin) playing in the band together etc. Then as I grew up and had children they also just loved the jokes, always keeping us laughing, picking and singing all the fun we ALL had together.
Leaving so soon was a real shock but I believe you two (Dick and Ken) are togher again picking, singing and laughing again. You will be so missed.

Death is Nothing
That we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes
We enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me,
Let my name be ever the household word that
It always was.
Let it be spoken without effort,
Without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant
It is the same as it ever was
There is absolutely unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am
Out of sight? I am but waiting for you
For an interval
Somewhere very near
Just around the corner.
All is well.

You were the love of my life. Thank you for 8 happy wonderful years. I learned so much from you. You taught me the importance of hard honest work, dependability and what it is to be a real person. Fake and phony were not in your vocabulary. You were Dick and thats that. Thank you for all you have done for me. Thank you for making me laugh. Especially in the mornings, you always sent me off to work properly. No one could love me or butt heads with me like you. There will never be anyone like you. You are truly one of a kind. I miss you.
