Born November 13, 1934 in Shiloh, PA he was the son of Willard and Virginia (Maines) Bumbarger.
He is survived by his wife Sandra G. (Kriebel) Bumbarger, whom he married on May 12, 1956; four children; Richard Edward Bumbarger II and his wife Victoria of Doyelstown, Victoria Gail Bumbarger of Lewistown, LeRoy Clark and his wife Amy of Royersford and Valerie Mae Keith and her husband Rick of Woodland; four grandchildren: Richard Bumbarger III, Jason Bumbarger, Bridget Maines and Nicole Bumbarger and one great-grandson, Ty Bumbarger. Also surviving, a sister; Velda Smeal of Morrisdale and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and eleven brothers and sisters.
At the request of Mr. Bumbarger there will be no public visitation. There will be a celebration of his life for family and friends and family at the Bumbarger residence in Woodland on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 1:00 P.M.
