Born on January 21,1961, in DuBois, Pennsylvania. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army, demonstrating his dedication and commitment.
On June 7, 1997, he wed the former Rebecca R. "Becky" Graham in Clearfield, PA, forming a loving family that would grow to include many children and grandchildren.
He retired from Appalachian Wood Products, Clearfield after 23 years of service.
Richard was Baptist by faith and found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was very much a family man who looked forward to yearly vacations to the beach with his family, enjoyed spending time at home watching his Pittsburgh sports teams, and doing yardwork with the kids. He was known for his hard-working nature and humorous spirit. A true jokester, Richard was often found laughing at his own jokes.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca R. Davis; his father, Roger Davis and step-mother Larue of Nicholasville, Kentucky; his sons, Jason Davis of DuBois, PA, , Jesse Aughenbaugh of DuBois, PA, Joshua Aughenbaugh, Dalton Davis, Kaden Good, and Malachi Davis, all of Clearfield, PA; his daughters, Dusti Davis of Seattle, Washington, Jessica Gricks of Penfield, PA, Laken Good, and Arabella Davis, both of Clearfield, PA; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Cheri Harner of Madera, California, and Shirley Young of Nicholasville, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen L. (Penvose) Zilleox, his sisters, Donna Schleuter and Esther Cleer, and brother, Roger Davis, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc., located at 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, PA 16830, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Pastor Sherilyn Sheets will be officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 11am until the time of services at 2 p.m.
