Rodney Lee Jordan

Born on July 17, 1953 in Clearfield, he was the son of Thomas Newton and Helen Jo (Collar) Jordan.

Mr. Jordan graduated from Clearfield Area High School. On August 22, 1974 he wed the former Judith ‘Judy’ A. Bruner in Winburne, PA. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the coal industry. Mr. Jordan had plans of retiring this year. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 812, Clearfield, he loved his grandchildren immensely and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife, one son Raymond Jordan, Grampian, PA, five grandchildren, two brothers, Thomas (Nancy) Jordan, Morrisdale, PA, John (Phyllis) Jordan of Woodland, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Ricky and Randy Jordan and seven sisters.

Friends will be received at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield today, Friday, April 15 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. At the request of Mr. Jordan, there will be no funeral services. Committal services will be held in the Old Bradford Cemetery, Woodland, PA on Saturday, April 16 at 1 p.m. with Charlie Jones officiating.
