

Mr. DeHaven was born November 2, 1958 in Hawaii, the son of James Donald and Phyllis Ann (Snyder) DeHaven, Sr.
He had been employed as a welder in the Clearfield Area, as well as Dow Chemical Company in Texas. Mr. DeHaven had also been employed in the parts department of Pricision Airlines, K-Mart in New Hampshire, Murray Ford of DuBois and Sears of DuBois.
Mr. DeHaven was Methodist by Faith.
He had served with the United States Marines.
He was survived by three brothers and two sisters: James D. DeHaven, Jr. and his wife Phoebe of Of Enfield,NH, Michael E. DeHaven and his wife Tonya of Penfield, PA, Harry E. DeHaven of Curwensville, PA, Darla K. DeHaven of Punxsutawney, PA,and Donna M. Saudarg of Clearfield, PA. He was also survived by an uncle and aunt, and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
At the request of Mr. DeHaven ther will be no public visitation or viewing.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at10:00 AM at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield, PA with Rev. Harold Hills officiating.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Boyscouts of America-Bucktail Council, 209 First Street, DuBois, PA 15801.
