Rose M. Rauch

Rose M. Rauch, age 88, of Clearfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at UPMC Altoona.

She was born on November 29, 1929, in Clearfield, PA; a daughter of the late Walter and Frances (Billotte) Kyler.

Mrs. Rauch worked at Bell Telephone as an operator, Shawville Coal and Lingle Coal Company, various bookkeeping positions, and most recently for Lawrence Township.

She was a member of the Shawville United Methodist Church, where she volunteered for various events, and she was also a member of the LIFT Group.

Survivors include three children: Louis Rauch and his wife Darlene of Curwensville, Colleen Rumery and her husband John of Clearfield, Bonnie Myers of Indiana; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Francine Shipley of Shawville and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Joseph Rauch, whom she married on August 19, 1949, and who passed and August 23, 1999; three brothers: Louis, Rene, and Everett Kyler; two sisters: Yvonne Stradley and Loretta Chencharick; a son-in-law: Robert Myers.

Funeral services will be held at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 11 am with Reverend Robert Henry officiating. Burial will be at Eden Cemetery.

Friends and family are invited to the funeral home on Friday, May 4, 2018, from 4-9 pm and Saturday, May 5, 2018, from 10 am until the time of funeral services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shawville United Methodist Church, Route 879, Shawville, PA 16873.
