Theda Jean Lawhead

She was born on December 26, 1924 in Clearfield, the daughter of the late Wm. Clark Kittleberger Sr. and Vera (Hoover) Kittleberger. On May 30, 1946 she married Robert M. Lawhead Jr., who passed away April 10, 1993.

Theda was a 1942 graduate of Clearfield High School. She was a lifetime member of Christ United Methodist Church in Clearfield and was also a member of Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital Auxiliary member. She was a past member of NON and Women’s Club.

She is survived by her three children: Robin L. Lawhead (Kimberly) of Palmyra, PA, Linda L. Pollock of Clearfield and Gigi L. (Willie) Gearhart of Clearfield; three grandchildren: Amy Pollock, Matthew (Dani) Gearhart and Alyssa (Ryan) Price and four great grandchildren: Rowan Gearhart, Evrett Gearhart, Holden Price and Elliot Price.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert M. Lawhead Jr. and a brother Dr. W. Clark Kittleberger Jr.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.

Friends will be received from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. with an additional hour of viewing being held on Thursday from 10:00AM until the hour of service.
