Vermyra L. Morgan

She was born June 9, 1935, in Reynoldsville, the daughter of the late Frank and Mildred (Anderson) Snyder.

Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her husband Bruce on October 22, 2025, whom she married on August 25, 1956, having been married for 69 years.

Vermyra is survived by four children, Kim Wright and husband Bob, Todd Morgan and wife Lisa, Bonnie Scipione and husband Walter, and Melissa Peterman and husband Rich; grandchildren, Eric (Meghan) Wright, Ryan (Gail) Wright, Kyle (Shannon) Wright, Morgan Peterman, Madison (David) Murphy, Abby Morgan, Megan Moore and Todd Munchak; great grandchildren, Cameron, Chloe, Allie, Tatem and Olivia Wright, Elijah and Benjamin; a sister Eathelda Georgeff and two nephews Frank and Fred Snyder.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers Norman, Donald, and Frank Snyder.

Vermyra was a homemaker and enjoyed everything her grandchildren participated in, working in her flower garden, bird watching, crocheting, reading and traveling with friends and family. She was a member of the Grampian Church of Faith, formerly St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Grampian, a member of the United Methodist Women and the Clearfield Bowling Lanes Coffee League.

Sincere appreciation for the care given by Vickie, Karen, Michelle, and the entire staff of Knickerbocker Villa. The family also extends appreciation to Penn Highlands Community Nursing Hospice.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Curwensville Rescue Hose and Ladder, 408 Filbert Street, Curwensville, PA 16833.
