

Mr. Marsh was born February 9, 1952 in St. Marys, the son of Albert F. and Cathryn (Luzier) Marsh.
He had been employed by the Pennsylvania State University and State College Area School District and most recently was self- employed. PC Week referred to Bill as Network Technical Coordinator at PSU’s Center for Design and Computing in University Park, Pa. He was on the Advisory Board for Chipcom Corp. Bill was quoted by many in the industry and was considered ahead of his time. Bill attended and successfully completed the PA Game Commission deputy training at their headquarters in Harrisburg.
Mr. Marsh was a member of Clearfield Alliance Church.
Bill was a member of the Republican Party and past chair of the American Red Cross. He was also a member and instructor of the NRA. He organized self-defense classes for woman, including firearms training.
He is survived by the wife of his youth and loving companion Kimberly A. Marsh Owens. He will be missed by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mr. Marsh was preceded in death by his parents.
Bill loved doing for and serving others whether at a family reunion, his church or just in everyday life. Nothing gave him greater joy than giving others joy. Bill’s desire was that all would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior as he did. John 15:16
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Clearfield Alliance Church with Rev. Robert B. Goldenberg officiating.
Friends will be received at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM and on Saturday at the church from 12:00 PM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM.
