Born on June 30, 1948 in Clearfield; a son of the late Archibald Dunsmore Gill and Stella (Fletcher) Gill.

Mr. Gill was the owner and operator of Bill Gill Towing.

He was a member of Clearfield Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #812, Clearfield Moose Lodge 97, and Mosquito Creek Sportsman Club.

Survivors include three children: Trudy McCool and her husband Christopher of Clearfield, Holly Tihansky and her husband David of Port Wentworth, GA, and Willis Gill, Jr. of Wilmington, NC; four grandchildren: Jade Rothrock, Alexis Tihansky; Zechariah Tihansky; and Olivia Tihansky; two great-grandchildren: Asher Rothrock and Judah Rothrock; six siblings: Alice Smeal, Carol Bumbarger, Gloria Calhoun, Genevieve McGonigal, James Gill, and Joyce Hugar; and was a father figure to Eric Kimbell. He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings: Marvin Gill, George Gill, Robert Gill, and Marjorie Shaffner.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
