Time will never make this right. May your family find new sense of peace. Somehow….someway. It’s a road you’ve wouldn’t selected. My heart is with you all. It’s a hard road…knowing you Bruce….I therefore know your family. You each will hold each other through the journey.

I had the great honor of getting to know Abby while she worked her shifts at Tampa Bay Downs. I work there as a mutuels teller and Abby would occasionally escort me as I carried money from one location to another. We talked about many things, especially her beloved dogs and her new place. She was indeed a bright light in a dark world and I am deeply affected by her passing. I have been inspired to write a song about her. I call it "Dear Abby, Candle in the Night". I hope to share this song with her loved ones. May God bless her loved ones with comfort and peace. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. We have all lost a lot with Abby's passing.

We remember Abby as a dear friend to our daughter, her bright and caring personality just shone. What a beautiful daughter and sister you shared with many, who are all better for it.

May all your beautiful and precious memories of Abigail Rose, "Abby", fill your hearts with love, and pray God gives you comfort, peace and strength during this difficult time.

She was the most amazing kind loyal silly smart vibrant beyond belief person. She was a very very bright light. Angel on earth💜🕊

Sarah, Bruce, Daniel, and Ben - Abby's smile and personality brought so much joy and momentum to our FH team. She was a natural motivator and leader. Her spirit and genuine smile are the things that I loved best about her. She added such wonderful memories for me as a coach and as her counselor. Sending love, hugs, and prayers.

I met Abby in the 10th grade when I transferred to WJ. She was immediately kind and welcoming and quickly became a dear friend. Laura, Mina, Meagan, Caroline, Abby and I called ourselves the 'six pack' and spent our formative years together; cheering each other on at games, celebrating birthdays, hanging out in Laura's basement, racing home before curfew, and supporting each other through the ups and downs of those teenage years. We always had each others backs and we had (a lot!!) of laughs. Even then, Abby was incredibly well-rounded and had her eyes on the prize- all while being so cool, so funny, and so down-to-earth. She took AP classes, was a key player on our lacrosse team (and field hockey if I recall correctly), had such natural beauty, and talked to everyone. She NEVER had her nose in the air, even when she had every right to! Instead, she was easy to laugh and smile and make others do the same with that great sense of humor. When we graduated, we all stayed in touch regularly, sending each other big paragraph updates about our new college lives and meeting up on holiday breaks for drinks & girl talk.
The last time I saw Abby was at Mina's wedding in Tennessee. Since we were the ones in the group that didn't bring guys, we had a lot of fun joking around and calling each other our 'dates.' I'm so glad I had that time with her. We had so many good life talks and laughs about those high school years. There is truly no better medicine for the soul than spending time with an old friend.
Abby, when I think of you, I will always think of your beauty. Your laugh. The way you always called me Brigatsss! Your strength. The way you put people at ease. Your light. I love you.

Shortly before she joined the sheriff’s department, her smile was the first thing I saw at work each morning. Abby was smart, kind, compassionate, and strong, as every mother wants their daughter to be. Rest In Peace, sweet Abby, I’m grateful to have known you.

In the face of heartbreak and tears, the attached photo is to honor, respect and remember Abby "Speedy Feet" Beiber.

"Speedy Feet" came to us the day that our son, Brendan, raced home from kindergarten and excitedly announced that there was a girl who could run as fast as the boys. The legend of "Speedy Feet" was born and will be forever with us.

No surprise that she was an incredible young lady given the family she represented.

The entire Bieber family has been very much in our thoughts. While we cannot be there in person to honor and celebrate her life, we trust that the many friends you have have helped multiply your joy over the years and now help to divide your sorrow.

Bless you and yours now and down the road.

The Ryan Family

While I haven’t been in touch with Abby since high school, she was a huge part of my favorite memories from our days as wildwood wombats. I found a listing from when we broke the MCSL record for the mixed 13-14 freestyle relay, which was a huge moment in my teenage years that I will never forget.

I will miss Abby dearly and sending all my love to her friends and family.

Bruce and Family - I'm so sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Bruce - I wanted to call in the worst way, but could not find the words to express my condolences. Please know that we're all thinking about you. I look forward to the next time we're able to connect.

Bruce and family,
May you find strength to get through this. Bruce - the family pictures you shared of Abby’s graduation to join the force were a proud papa moment I will never forget. Love to you all.

Sarah, Bruce and family, Words cannot express how heartbroken we are over Abby’s passing. We have such fond memories of lacrosse and field hockey games with our Emily and their time spent together. She lived her life fully and you must be so proud of what she accomplished. We will always remember her wonderful smile, outgoing personality and kind heart. Sending our love to you all. Faith and Alan Kleinburd

Sarah, Bruce, Daniel and Ben - All of the Schofer's send our love and condolences on the loss of your amazing daughter and sister. We have many fond memories of Abby - sledding on your front yard hill, throwing the ball or frisbee, sitting on the front steps or with you all on the chairs, walking with Sarah around the neighborhood and especially training her baby, Louie/Louey! She had an infectious smile and personality. From one Terp to another, we will keep her memory alive and we send our love to you. May her memory be for a blessing. Cindy, Greg, Noam, Jory and Talia

Dearest Sarah, Bruce and family, our deepest condolences. Words can’t express the sorrow we feel about Abby’s passing. She was a wonderful, sweet girl and we were blessed to know her. We have fond memories watching dear Abby play field hockey and lacrosse with our Sarah. You are in our thoughts and prayers every day. Love, Liz and Gary Langlie xo

Abby and I were co-workers at Thompson Miller where we built a friendship. She was one of the kindest people one could ever hope to meet. We joked often about what our reactions would be if she ever had to pull me over on patrol. I was so proud of her accomplishments and she always updated me on her progress throughout her time at the academy. I knew she would be a strong force within the Sheriff's Office. I am grateful for the last conversation I had with her recently. I hope the fond memories we all share of her will be of some comfort to you at this time. While I know you were angels to her, she is now your angel watching over you always.

Abby worked extra shifts at TBD Race Track and my husband Doug works there in Security. He thought so much of Abby and would tell me when she was working what a good night it was for him because she was so nice and always pleasant and would chat with him if the night was fairly quiet and nothing going on they needed to take care of. We recently had a couch and recliner for sale and Doug knew she had just bought a home and he told her she could have them if she wanted them. I texted her pics of the furniture and she replied back to me that the color wouldn’t work with her walls and she was so sweet in her reply to me, that was Tuesday before she left this earth that w/e. Even though we never met I was devastated to hear about her passing and Doug has really had a hard time with this, we are both so sorry for your loss and prayers have been said daily for God’s Grace to enfold each of you and give you moments of peace now and going forward without her. We lost our daughter Jennifer 17.5 years ago, she is Forever 31, I know the complete sorrow in your heart and soul, I know there are no words to help really…….I am here if you need another Mom that has lost a child to listen and understand. Vicki and Doug Dugger.

All of us at Thompson Miller, send our heartfelt condolences to Abby's family and friends. We had the pleasure of working with Abby prior to her joining the academy. Although we were sad when Abby left the firm, we were all so very proud of her and were excited to watch her follow her dreams. Many of us kept in touch with her over the years and are truly heartbroken. Abby was a true pleasure to work with and just the most wonderful person. We will forever cherish our memories of our time spent with her.
