

Albertus T. Disser passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on December 18, 1936, in Rotterdam, Holland, Albertus lived a life filled with love, adventure, dedication, and hard work.
Albertus was one of four boys born to the loving parents Albertus and Cornelia Disser, whose guidance and devotion helped shape the man he would become. He proudly served in the Dutch military for 18 months, carrying with him a strong sense of discipline, honor, and loyalty throughout his life.
In 1958, while working aboard a ship, Albertus met the love of his life, Elizabeth Adrianna Disser. Their love story was one of enduring devotion and joy. Together they built a beautiful life and welcomed their first child in 1960. Albertus was a devoted husband and an extraordinary father whose love and guidance left a lasting impact on his family.
Albertus had a deep passion for travel and adventure. Whether enjoying safaris, taking cruises, or exploring new places, he embraced every experience with excitement and curiosity. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making friends wherever he went. His warm personality made people feel instantly welcome.
A talented carpenter by trade, Albertus poured his heart into his work and took immense pride in every project he completed. His craftsmanship reflected not only skill, but integrity and passion. He inspired many through his dedication to carpentry and his commitment to excellence. Albertus believed in doing things the right way and held himself, and others, to high standards that motivated those around him to strive for their very best.
Outside of work, Albertus enjoyed cooking, hunting, and spending time outdoors. He was a proud member of the National Rifle Association and a hunting club.
Albertus was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Albertus and Cornelia Disser, and his brother, Teunus Disser.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Adrianna Disser; his sons, Robert James Disser and Edward Albert Disser; his brothers, Willem Disser and Rudolph Disser; his cherished grandchildren, Parker James Disser, Destiny Marie Disser, and Emily Ann Disser; and his treasured great-grandchildren, Jacob Martin Eddings and Anastasia Disser.
Albertus leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, hard work, and kindness. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the countless lives he touched and the example he set through a life well lived.
