Alexandra Marie Duell

She was born on February 4, 2003, in Muskegon, Michigan, eventually moving with family to Clearwater, Florida in the fall of 2010. She was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew her. Her vibrant spirit, kind heart, and infectious smile brought joy to her family, friends, and community. Alexandra had a special connection with animals—especially cats. She had a curious mind for geography and was a mathematical genius, earning a Pride Award in 2013 for being the top math student in Pinellas County for her age.

Alexandra was an adventurous soul who found peace in nature and always loved being outdoors. She attended Countryside and Seminole High Schools, where she built lasting friendships and touched the lives of many.

She is lovingly remembered by her father, Douglas Wayne Duell; her mother, Elizabeth Marie Taylor; her brother, Xavier Duell; her grandfather, Neil Duell; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Alexandra’s life will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, Florida 33759. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 AM.

Though her time here was brief, Alexandra’s impact was profound. Her light will continue to shine in every heart she touched.
