

Alice Myers, age 90, passed away peacefully at her home in Dunedin, on the evening of December 29, 2020. Her beloved husband, James and son, Chuck were with her. She is survived by her children, Patricia (and Howard) Rothman, Charles Myers, Mary Alice Juneau and Jane (and Bruce) Ryder; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth who died in August, 2013. Alice was born in Philadelphia on April 16, 1930 to Alice and Gustave Gross and married the love of her life, Jim Myers, on September 3, 1949. She and Jim were married 71 years.
Alice was a secretary by profession and retired from a long-term job at a church in Clearwater, Florida. She was a devoted Catholic and 35-year member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Alice enjoyed playing bridge, bowling, bingo, taking cruises and winning the Black Jack tournaments on those cruises. However, what Alice enjoyed the most was playing with her grandchildren when they were little and recently, holding her great-grandchildren.
Alice will be missed by many and will forever be known for the great love she had for her husband Jim as well as all of her family.
