Anthony was born on March 21, 1962, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Mary Beth (née Hilliard) and Clemente Carrieri. He graduated from Clearwater High School in 1980, and shortly thereafter answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Navy. He served his country with pride and honor, carrying that same strength and devotion throughout his life.
Following his military service, Anthony returned to Florida before eventually making his way to Colorado, where he lived until 2024. There, through hard work, determination, and an entrepreneurial spirit, he became a successful business owner and founded Summit Properties. Anthony took great pride in what he built, but those who knew him best knew that his greatest treasures were never material; they were the people he loved.
Anthony had a personality that was impossible to forget. Known affectionately by many as an ornery comedian, he had a gift for making people laugh and was often the life of the party. He loved the humor of Monty Python and could effortlessly turn a moment into a memorable one with a favorite quote from films such as Top Gun and Rocky. His laughter, quick wit, and unmistakable sense of humor brought joy to countless people throughout his life.
Music was another great love of Anthony’s. He enjoyed the timeless sounds of The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, Martha and the Vandellas, Santana, and many others. He loved the simple pleasures of life, walking along the beach, fishing in his younger years, and riding his motorcycle. Yet above all else, Anthony cherished his family. Time spent with the people he loved was what mattered most to him, and the memories he created with them will remain a lasting part of his legacy.
Anthony will be deeply missed by his siblings, Angelo Carrieri, John Carrieri, and Anita (Bill) Halberstadt; his beloved nieces and nephews, Alec Carrieri, Arianna Carrieri, John Carrieri Jr., Gino (Mikal) Carrieri, Daniel Carrieri, and Nicole (Austin) Nielson; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.
Anthony’s life was filled with laughter, adventure, love, and a generous spirit. He had a way of making people smile, a way of turning ordinary moments into stories worth remembering, and a way of leaving his mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him. His family and friends will carry his laughter, his humor, his stories, and his love with them always.

Anthony may no longer be here to make us laugh, share a story, or brighten a room with his unmistakable personality, but the love he gave and the memories he created will remain forever. He will be loved, remembered, and missed more than words can say.
