Antonio served in the U.S. Army and went on to marry his lifelong partner, Mary Lombardo. Together, they built a family with two children in the United States. He attended college, earning the equivalent of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and had a successful career as a production engineer in the manufacturing industry.
A true handyman and problem solver at heart, Antonio found great joy in home improvement projects. Whether something was broken or simply needed attention, it never stayed that way for long under his care. He took great pride in providing for his family and enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He loved playing cards, Italian bingo during the holidays, completing countless puzzles, and watching classic Hollywood and Western movies. He also appreciated spending time outdoors, where one of his favorite pastimes in recent years was feeding the neighborhood lizards. His dedication to his family, persistent resourcefulness, and dependable nature will be remembered by all who knew him.
Antonio is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Lombardo; his son, Marco Lombardo; his daughter, Sonia Lombardo; and many other cherished family members.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park Mausoleum. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the mausoleum within the cemetery.
Antonio will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
