Calderon, Armando, 76 of Safety Harbor, passed Friday Nov 1, 2019 at Mease Countryside Hospital. Born June 29, 1943 in Puerto Rico, he was the son of Armando and Eloisa Rodriguez Calderon. Armando retired from The US Navy and the NY City Police Dept. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Barrett Calderon of Safety Harbor and his daughters, Jennifer Beman and Jill Calderon and his son, Nicholas Calderon, also survived by his two loving grandchildren, Justin and Luke and son-in-law, Christopher Beman. He is also survived by his siblings, Herb Calderon, Charlie Calderon, Peter Calderon, Ralph Calderon, Gladys Calderon, Esther Vasquez, Edie Lynch and Joanna Calderon-Rodriguez. Visitation will be 2-4 pm on Tuesday, November 5th at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd., Clearwater, Florida 33759. Funeral will follow at 4pm at the funeral home.

I had the pleasure of working with Armando for some years in Dist#20. A real upstanding man and gentleman. Im saddened to hear of his passing, I believe he came from Greenpoint, Brooklyn as I did. We shared many memories while on patrol of the past. My condolenses to his wife and children.
