Audrey L Porter

Audrey is survived by her husband of sixty-four years Robert R Porter, her son Keith P Porter, twin daughters Jonna L Smolko and Cynthia A Bergeron, son Kevin A Porter and sisters Joan Carroll and Dale Johnson.

She attended Southside High School in Memphis and Memphis State University majoring in Music and Library science. Audrey was an avid reader and loved any kind of music. Christian music was her favorite.

Her life was all about the family. She dearly loved her Children and Grandchildren. She diligently kept up with all their activities, birthdays and graduations. Whenever any of her children had a need, she was always ready to help.

Audrey was a dedicated Christian. She served as Chairman of the Jacksonville Christian Women’s club and the Tampa/Clearwater Christian Women’s Club. She was active in her church and the Chapel at the Hampton, where we lived. She participated in various prayer groups and sang in the Choir.

She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Audrey was the source of our strong family ties. Her cheerful smile and loving nature will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We shall not forget !!
