She was born on 10/8/1944 in Ringgold, GA to Willie Mae Keeble Ledford and Lawton DeWitt Ledford, Sr. She was married to James Arthur Boles on 7/14/1960.
Barbara worked in food service at Chick-fil-A, as a machine operator at Pixie Playmates, and was also a housewife. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Arthur Boles; and sons, Johnny Scott Boles and Michael Randolph Boles; parents, Willie Mae Ledford and Lawton DeWitt Ledford, Sr.; siblings, Ralph Cecil Ledford, George Gurney Ledford, Lawton DeWitt Ledford, Jr, and Esther Corine Ledford Furnari. She was survived by her sibling: Catherine Ledford Brannon, and her husband, Jack Brannon; her children: James Allen Boles and Tammy Jean Boles Long; her grandchildren: Robert, Kayla, Jennifer Crystal, Christina, Jennifer Lynn, Jessica, Amanda, and Victoria; and her great grandchildren: Anthony, Lilly, Harvey, Shane, Julie, Elijah, Wyatt, Hunter, and Ethan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on August 22, 2026 at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, Clearwater, FL.
