Bernie was on January 28, 1949, in Southbridge MA, to parents George and Claire Perry. Bernie grew up with a passion for working on cars, and amateur radio. He worked for Peter Pan Bus Lines for 21 years. Also was a Southbridge MA Fireman. Later in life he was an Extra Class Accredited Volunteer Examiner and National Volunteer Examiner Coordinator call sign KB3SMQ.
On August 14, 1996, he married the love of his life, Susan Perry. Together, they shared Sunday mornings going grocery shopping, traveling to different beaches in Maine, Maryland, and Florida. He was always offering a listening ear, and quick laughter when it was needed the most.
He is survived by his wife Susan Perry, his children, Marc Perry and Deb, Crystal Palomino and Dan, Brian Kerns and Stephanie. His grandchildren, Kassandra Perry, Devaney Kerns, Kassidy Collins, Kyler Kerns, Katelynn Kerns, JK Kerns, and Briana Palomino (RIP); and his siblings Louise Perry, Jean Lynskey, and Paul Perry. His beloved dogs, Charlie and Hank.
A celebration of life will be plan by his family later.
