

She was born June 2, 1919 in Old Washington, Ohio the daughter of Foster J. Hamilton and Isa Edith (Perkins) Hamilton.
Bettie’s passion was her art, enameling on copper. She taught classes at many institutions; also private lessons in her own studio. Her work was exhibited in many museums across the country; Wichita, Syracuse, Cleveland, Canton to name a few. She received numerous awards and prizes during her career as an artist/craftsman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Allan I. Gordon and six brothers and sisters, Wayne, Charles, Samuel, Jack, Leah and Lucille,
Bettie is survived by her daughter, Nancy Hausler and her husband Woody, her sons, Bruce Gordon and his wife Judy, Robert Gordon, grandchildren, Lorraine Myhal’, Andrew and his wife Jennifer, Tyler, John and his wife Tia and Chase Gordon, a great grandson, Henry Gordon, a cousin and friend, Charles Wilkins and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are pending and will be held at a later date.
